This morning he was a little quiet. At school he ignored me and the guys when we saw him. When school was over he didn’t come to find me. When he came home he asked if I saw what happened. Before dinner he asked how long freshman Friday lasts. Just now he didn’t race me to get the first scoop of rice, instead he says “Jordan go ahead and get your rice.”
